POSITION : Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Contracts Manager, Asbestos Technician, Asbestos Engineer.

PRODUCTS : Asbestos surveying, identification and removal.

SALARY : £18,400 - £27,240 + BONUS

LOCATION : Kent, Surrey, Sussex, London, Essex, Beds, Cambs.

EXPERIENCE : You must have experience of identifying asbestos products, excellent contract management experience with good business and communication skills.

OPPORTUNITY : The business has been established in the UK for over 35 years and currently holds ISO 9001, membership of the Asbestos Removals and Contractors Association and works to the highest standards.

They are currently looking for an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager. You may be involved in the sales process however, your role is to identify the asbestos, construct a quote, complete a full risk assessment, discuss any issues with the client, arrange permits, team and materials to arrive on site at the same time plus occasionally manage the teams and sort out any problems.

You must be an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager currently as due to the high levels of new enquiries the company does not have time to cross train you from a different industry.

SALARY : £24,900-£31,220 basic, company vehicle, prospects, stability, managerial prospects.

LOCATION : Hants, West Sussex, Surrey.

EXPERIENCE : You must be currently or recently working for a commercial water treatment company, probably involved in chlorination, monitoring, cooling towers, tank inspection or preferably currently completing ACOP L8 Assessments, must be personable, with good communication skills, but above all show real enthusiasm for the job.

OPPORTUNITY : This may be the last career move you will ever need to make. The prospects for your growth into Contracts Management and above have been mapped out with the appropriate training and development programs ready to swing into action.

The business is extremely settled and stable with the average length of service, well over 10 years, some have spent their whole working life in the same organisation. However, there are a set of retirements due late 2009 and 2010, with a need to bring new selected people into the fold.

The main role is ACOP L8 Assessments, occasionally assisting the other teams with general monitoring, cleans, sampling and remedial works. You can choose to stay in this post or, if you are the right person, take over from the Contracts Manager for a soft hand over as he goes part time next year with a view to full retirement the year after.

EXPERIENCE : You must want stability, career growth and have a real pride in your work. Previous experience with a commercial water treatment company is essential and you will probably have experience of chlorination, water tank cleaning, cooling tower deep cleans, temperature sampling, L8 Risk Assessments or you may be more involved in the remedials or plumbing for water treatment hardware.

EXPERIENCE : You must currently be working for a commercial water treatment company with Field Sales experience, internal sales experience or be managing larger accounts.

OPPORTUNITY : The company is a stable, financially sound business who are looking to capitalize on the changes taking place in the market currently, they have identified a series of potential accounts that either have problems with their current suppliers or no contracts in place currently.

The role for you is to be take over some existing business to make the transition easier, while targeting a raft of new accounts mostly from pre-existing leads.
